Well, here we are -- the 2017 school year is coming to an end. Thank you for taking the time to read these blog posts throughout the school year. I hope you found them helpful, and feel free to email me any suggestions you have on how to improve the website.
This week our crew wrapped up all volunteer sites. Everyone has worked very hard this year and the community members (e.g., King Center, Church of Naz) we work with were very appreciative of all that we've done. We also had a cookout on Wednesday (thanks for the cookies, Nate). Everyone had a good time as you'll see by the photos in this post.
The official last day of school for this school year is Thursday, June 8th. The graduation assembly and prom are also on June 8th. This event is held at the Church of the Nazarene.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the end of the year or anything else for that matter. Have a great weekend and summer, everyone.
Our group has had a couple good weeks since spring break. We've spent time working at our volunteer sites, riding the Jackson city bus, making purchases at the Crossing, making french toast in cooking class, and gaining some valuable skills while eating out at Klavon's and Outback Steakhouse. I hope you've all enjoyed your week. Have a great weekend.
